On the 3rd day of our holiday and have used Shade sunscreen on all of us.No one has burnt(usually the teenager has burnt his shoulders by this point). I've used Shade sunscreen for the last 5 years or so and I won't use any other. I've used it in Florida Spain and now Greece and it's properly protected me (quite fair skin and burn easily) and my 2 kids no trouble; and I'm also not poisoning the ocean and sea life! Use small amounts, rub into hands first then apply. Win win!

Absolutely love Shade. Have used other non-toxic/natural suncreams before and the quality doesn't come close to Shade. It's not too thick so allows easily application, it doesn't stain clothes when applying and even smells half decent. I even use it on my two children who practically live outside and they have beautifully sunkissed skin and haven't burnt once. Highly tecommended and i'm sure I will be a customer every summer.

I have tried and used so many organic and natural sun screen products, Shade sunscreen is so far is the best. It is not greasy. It is not chalky. First the thick and white paste may put you off but it melts into the skin quickly. I used it on the beach in Sicily, I didn't even get redness, normally I get burnt and go red very quickly.

The tin is small enough to take it with me in my handbag.

I just wanted to let you know that I love my new sun cream. After recently finding out how much toxins are in regular sun cream I was on the look out for something natural and I'm so glad I found this. It was a bit different to use and I've had to get used to the different texture and how to apply it but I won't go back now. I'll definitely be purchasing again

This is good stuff: proper zinc barrier sun screen, with nothing nasty in it, and the only sun screen I've ever found that I've been happy to use on my face.

I used it every day of my two-week holiday in Cancun. It has a neutral smell, is easy to apply, and didn't melt at all even in the constant 30C-plus temperatures. It stays on well, too - yes, swimming will wash some of it off, but a useful amount stays on (even though you're supposed to reapply it after swimming).

The only downside is that it is very white - made me look like an Australian cricketer. But that's just part of the deal with this kind of product, and at least it's easy to see where you've missed bits. I have very light skin, and routinely get lobsterish on beach holidays despite staying in the Shade and wearing a hat all the time. Not this time! The product works.

Just come back of my holiday and my daughter has really sensitive skin so always hated using conventional sun cream and wanted something natural this tick every box my daughter loves and it was also kind to her skin I couldn't recommend this product enough thanks

This is brilliant. What I've been looking for! We've just returned from Mexico. Used only Shade on my 9 year old son and it worked brilliantly. Spreads smooth on your hand and then on to the skin. Used 1 100ml tub. Wish I had taken two to be sure. Already purchased another 2 for the UK. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a natural product!!

I am extremely happy with this natural and ethical sun-screen. Although I have allergies and over-sensitivities, rashes and inflamation including skin sensitivity, I am finding this natural-based sunscreen totally tolerable. The aroma is subtle. The screen has greater control when applying it than there might be with regular spray type products. I have not experienced any noticable over-exposure from the sun whilst carefully using this product.

This is our second tin of Shade. We bought our first last summer (my partner and I share the tin - less to carry, good for us both) - it is exactly what we were looking for made in the UK. We had previously had to import one that was a similar type from Australia. Great for the skin and the planet - love the fact it is in a tin too!

I tried this as I have finally woken up to the 'stuff' that is in the usual suntan lotions (and a lot of products) and I can honestly say that I have the best tan, even on my legs, that I have ever had. I can honestly recommend this product as one that is safe to use and really works.

HAVE GOT USED TO BLENDING THE WHITE CAST MORE EVENLY. FEEL THAT I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR MY BODY. LOVE THE FACT THAT THERE'S NO NASTIES IN IT.

Took my kids to the seaside on a really hot day and they did not burn at all using Shade. fast forward a week and on a trip to another beach i forgot my Shade and had to use a shop bought alternative (higher spf too) my youngest ended up with sunburn. Will never use anything else again!
