Use 1 large pea-sized amount for the face and neck

You’re aiming for even, visible coverage - not a ceremonial trace amount rubbed in until it vanishes.

When to reapply
Reapply regularly throughout the day, and always reapply: after swimming, towelling, sweating, exercise after rubbing or skin contact, and if you’re outdoors for long periods, assume your previous application has done all it reasonably can.
Reapplying helps maintain protection. It does not reset your sun exposure to zero.
Shade is a mineral sunscreen, so a slight white cast is normal. That’s not a flaw, it’s the clearest sign you’ve applied enough. This will soon appear to fade, but it will start to protect you immediately.
If you apply so little that it completely disappears just to avoid the white cast, you’ll be under-protecting yourself.
